Gift Cards: Gift cards are also another payment method on Uber Eats. If you want to add your gift card to your Uber Eats account, open the app and select the ‘Payment Method’ button and add your gift card. Fill in the gift card code into the account space provided and then your gift card can be put to use.

Credit or Debit Cards:  Uber Eats permits most credit or debit cards from MasterCard, Visa and American Express. To link your credit or debit card to your Uber Eats account, simply fill in your card details either manually or scan your card with the app.

Apple Pay:  You can also use Apple Pay to purchase your Uber Eats order and to do this, you must link your Apple Pay with Uber Eats. Set it up on your phone and use it to save time and convenience.

Uber Credits: Uber credits are used for both Uber rides and Uber Eats orders, so there is so much room for flexibility when using this particular payment channel.

Venmo: Many customers make use of Venmo to pay their loved ones but it is also another method of purchase for your Uber Eats order. To use Venmo, you must connect your Venmo account to Uber Eats. After this is done, you can then use your Venmo funds to pay for your order.

It is notable that a payment method Uber Eats does not accept cash so it is advised you use one of the payment methods listed above when you place your order. 

Can You Order With Uber Eats and Pay Later?

Yes! Uber Eats has a feature called “Pay Later” so you have absolutely nothing to worry about. With this feature, you can place an order for the meal of your choice and pay for it later when you have sufficient funds.

To do this, Click the “Pay Later” option at head out and verify your order. When your order arrives, you can make payment via different channels including Uber credits, Apple Pay, Venmo, credit or debit cards or Google Pay.

Uber Eats will automatically charge the card for a period of four instalments within a space of six weeks. 

You can also set a reminder to notify you when your payment is due, view your payment history and manage your payment channels on the Uber Eats App.
