Uwe Machreich is one of the top climbers of the Austrian gourmet scene who spoils you with the highest culinary perfection and creative cuisine in his restaurant Triad in Austria, where he works as a head chef alongside with his wife Veronika.
He always cooks with respect to the region and with lots of greens from their own herb and vegetable garden. In his restaurant he offers 3 to 7 course surprise menus, but he also regularly serves all Austrian classics such as veal Wiener Schnitzel, Wiener fried chicken or Beuscherl, traditional Austrian ragout made of offals and served with bread dumplings. He learned his trade from crème de la crème of local culinary legends, connoisseurs and gastro critics.
Uwe Machreich started his career working in hotels such as Hotel Das Ronacher, Hotel Vienna Plaza, Hotel Palais Schwarzenberg, and working his way to higher positions as the head chef of Restaurant Wolf in Vaduz, the assistant head chef in Mc Tavish’s Kitchens, Scotland, and cooperating with „chef of the year“ Heino Huber. Gault & Millau awarded the Triad restaurant with 2 toques and they are also members of "JRE - Jeunes Restaurateur" and Wirtshauskultur of Lower Austria.
