Robert Hromalić is a young pastry chef star from Croatia. After a year in Paris, he decided to return to Zagreb and open the pâtisserie & artisan pastry shop Time in which you can try very creative and sophisticated desserts that are mostly a modern interpretation of traditional Croatian desserts.
Two years ago, after finishing the Intensive Professional Program in French Pastry at the prestigious Ferrandi School of Culinary Arts in Paris, Robert started his internship at the 3* Michelin restaurant Le Meurice in Paris, owned by chef Alain Ducasse and under the watchful eye of pastry chef Cédric Grolet.
After that he worked a few months with pastry chef Yann Couvreur. Before he even started his pastry chef career and went to Paris, he worked in renowned Croatian restaurants like Mali Bar, Prasac, 5/4, Takenoko and Time. This February he opened a boutique pastry shop in Zagreb - Le Kolač. The best from him is yet to come.
