Priska Thuring was born in Switzerland, but she grew up in Canada. After being Head Chef in the designer hotel Lone***** in Rovinj for 8 years, she joined the team of the Dubravkin put restaurant in 2015.
Priska describes her food as a culinary ride in the Mediterranean. She cooks mostly using local ingredients, and she strives to find quality small producers as much as she can to show how much Croatia can offer. High-quality products and ingredients are the foundation of all of her dishes, but she adds some different spices to the menu to bring the flavors of North Africa, Spain and Lebanon. She travels often and explores different food styles in order to regularly refresh her culinary experiences. Providing unforgettable experiences for her guests, trying out new techniques and learning about new ingredients – these are Priska's passions and she constantly pushes the limits with her kitchen team.
